Even if at some point, observers and truth seekers have come to believe that many religious system are just set of religoius traditions that conditioned us to conform all the time, there is something about it that is still right and can be of good use.
People can use religion in different ways they like it to be. However, at this point, I believe the present day religious system should not be abolished after all.
Long time ago, when there are no formal schools the church or temples used to take that role. But now, people have formal schooling and they get
more literate and educated more than ever.Though there is the possiblity of religious abuse and the dangers of religions to be used for carnality, there is still hope in it.
Now, I believe that the business like religions can still be used at our own discretion. For those non-religious people, secular, atheist, freethinkers and agnostics, attending a church and religion hopping is still a great way to explore your faith.
We must treat church and religions like schools or universities. We are not supposed to stay with them forever. Once we know the basic of faith and we are informed, we need to graduate and be useful in the society not just sit and listen to lectures for the rest of our life.
It's far better that religions and church is controlled by professional people, much better than just ordinary untrained people. The priest and pastors should be professionals themselves, so that they don't just pop up from no where. Though Jesus, did not attend formal schooling, in our generation it's better if
they are professional.It is better if they are highly professionals and educated and trained to teach the truth to the people and also possess high moral standards. They should have their professional staffs as well. There is nothing bad if they ask for donation to support themselves and also to improve the church buildings. They just want to make your schooling as comfortable, well organize, entertaining and a worthwhile experience as much as possible.
I believe, people should treat religious institutions like academic institutions and a profession. People who mostly work there are like teachers. They should have sound philosophy and pass psychiatric test or may even have their license to teach people doctrines and the likes.
Churchinaity for me now are really Sunday schools and sunday clubs. We need them in the early years of our life but to stay with them forever is to our own decision. No one stay in the school forever, we graduate from it and move on with life. We say goodbye to our classmates and teachers and our lessons our over once we graduate.
Churchianity is like that. After 20 to 30 years of religious schooling, I had enough of it and I formed my own set of religoius beliefs and I believe once you get to know your God, he will be there to guide you in this life without opening up yourself to the traps and extremes of religious cultic tendency.
